1. Using Northmeld
By using Northmeld or creating an account, you agree to these terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. You must be legally able to enter this agreement. If you act for an organization, you must have its authorization.
2. The service
Northmeld helps you inspect, clean, review, and export CSV, Excel, and PDF tables. Suggestions and automated extraction can contain errors. Review the output before relying on it and keep a separate copy of important original files.
CSV and Excel processing and the default PDF extraction run in your browser. Enhanced PDF recognition is a separate, optional cloud service. Availability, supported formats, and file limits are explained in the workspace.
Private cloud projects are a Pro Beta feature with the limits shown on the Pricing page. When paid access ends, existing cloud projects become read-only for 30 days so the owner can download or delete data. Renewing Pro during that period restores write access.
3. Your account and files
Keep your account information accurate and your credentials secure. Only process files you have the right to use, including any personal information they contain. You retain ownership of your files. We process data you choose to upload only to provide, secure, and support the requested service.
Do not bypass access controls, misuse another person's account, disrupt the service, or submit unlawful material. Browser-local work is not an account backup and does not automatically sync across devices.
4. Pricing, points, and payment
Only plans available on the Pricing page can be purchased. Before you pay, checkout shows the selected plan, currency, billing period, and payment platform. Taxes and the final total are shown by the payment platform. A coming-soon plan cannot be purchased.
Subscriptions renew according to the billing period displayed at checkout until cancelled. Manage renewal through Billing or contact support. Cancellation and refunds are different actions; the Refund Policy explains the distinction. Payment is confirmed by the payment platform, not merely by returning to this website.
Each paid Pro period includes 1,000 cloud processing points. Monthly points are used first and expire at the end of that billing period without rollover. Separately purchased points do not expire and are used only after monthly points. Both balances buy the same processing amount, but cloud processing always requires an active Pro subscription. CPU and GPU stages are charged separately at the rates disclosed in Billing. A provider or system failure returns that stage's points to their original monthly or purchased source; user cancellation and completed processing remain chargeable.
5. Availability and responsibility
We work to maintain the service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free results. Third-party services may be unavailable. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses caused by unreviewed output or the loss of browser-local copies. These terms do not exclude liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
6. Breach, suspension, and termination
If you breach these terms, misuse an account, bypass access controls, interfere with the service, submit unlawful or harmful material, or create a material security, legal, or operational risk, we may take action proportionate to the nature and severity of the issue. Measures may include a warning, restricting features or file processing, removing or disabling access to affected content, suspending the account, or terminating your access to Northmeld.
Where reasonably practicable, we will notify you and give you an opportunity to remedy the breach. We may act immediately when necessary to protect users, the service, third parties, or to comply with law. Suspension or termination does not erase amounts already due or records that we must retain for legal, security, billing, or dispute-resolution purposes. Provisions that by their nature should survive remain effective. Contact support if you believe action was taken in error. Mandatory consumer rights and remedies remain unaffected.
7. Changes and contact
We may update the service and these terms. Material changes to paid services will be communicated where reasonably practicable. Contact support for account closure, service issues, or questions about these terms. Mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
